September
1st has been declared Patriot Golf Day. It is a call to action to
golfers across America. Your exponential power can change the lives
of the families of our Fallen Heroes. On Patriot Golf Day all
golfers will be asked to donate one dollar at courses across
America. This giving has the power to raise millions in order to
help our Fallen Heroes Families attend college and assist other
worthy groups helping these families.
In the wars of earlier generations the entire country went to war.
We purchased war bonds, conserved fuel and rubber. Most all citizens
helped the war effort in some capacity. Patriot Golf Day is a call
to action to all great patriots lying latent across America. This is
a wonderful way to support our families who have made the ultimate
sacrifice.
Many groups are behind Patriot Day, CBS Sports, USGA, PGA of
America, Golf Digest, National Golf Course Owners Association are
just a few. As golfers and as an industry we can facilitate an
amazing change. Please commit to our soldiers and our families and
play golf on September 1st.
Heritage Bluffs Public Golf Club is a
participating course for Patriot Golf Day. Golfers are asked to
donate $1 in addition to the greens fees to support Wounded
Warriors, Inc., which will also benefit the Fallen Heroes
