| The Channahon
Park District will accept reservations for picnic pavilions
at Central and Community Parks beginning Monday, March 3,
2008 for resident functions and Monday, March 17, 2008 for
non residents.
RESIDENTS SEEKING A PAVILION FOR A FAMILY OR
NEIGHBORHOOD FUNCTION, or an IN-DISTRICT BUSINESS FOR A
COMPANY FUNCTION, may reserve a pavilion at no charge by
calling the Park District at (815) 521-3005. NON-RESIDENTS
OF THE PARK DISTRICT, RESIDENTS SEEKING A PAVILION ON BEHALF
OF AN OUT OF DISTRICT BUSINESS OR ORGANIZATION, AND OUT OF
DISTRICT BUSINESS AND ORGANIZATIONS may reserve a pavilion
on a limited basis for a $75 fee payable at the time the
reservation is made.
PAVILLIONS FOR NON-RESIDENT GROUPS WILL
NOT BE AVAILABLE MAY 24-26, JULY 4-6, AUGUST 30-31,
SEPTEMBER 1, 2008. ANY GROUP EXPECTING 75 OR MORE
PARTICIPANTS IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A WRITTEN REQUEST,
detailing the nature of the function. Depending on the size
of the group and the activities planned, a deposit or extra
fees may be required to cover costs incurred by the Park
District.
ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED AT THE PAVILIONS ONLY WITH A
PERMIT.
