The Channahon Park District is accepting reservations for picnic pavilions at Central and Community Parks beginning Monday, March 5, 2012 for resident functions. Reservations will be accepted from 7:00am to 12:00pm on a WALK-IN ONLY BASIS at the Heritage Crossing Field House with a photo ID and current utility bill. Only one pavilion may be reserved per day. After 12:00pm, reservations will be accepted either in person or by phone. There is not a fee for residents to reserve a pavilion.
Nonresident reservations will begin 8:30am Monday, March 19, 2012 for a $75 fee. Payment is required when reservation is made. Pavilions are not available to nonresidents on the following holiday dates: May 26-28, July 4 and September 1-3, 2012.
ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED AT THE PAVILIONS ONLY WITH A PERMIT. Depending on the size of the group and activities planned, extra fees and certificates of liability insurance may be required.
