2024-2025 Kids Connection Preschool

Ages 3 & 4 years by September 1, 2024
The primary goal of the Kids Connection preschool program is to provide children with a stimulating environment in which they can develop. The program will provide varied experiences that will promote development in all areas: Social, Emotional, Intellectual and Motor. Our staff will strive to give each child a positive feeling of self-worth and value each child’s uniqueness. The facilities and planned activities are designed to provide an environment in which each child can freely express themselves and develop their potential. The children are encouraged to communicate with other children and adults, to explore, discover and learn through creative interaction. It is our goal to provide rewarding and exciting first experiences with school. All registration must be done in person.

Frequently Asked Questions for Preschool 2023-2024

What should my child bring?
A backpack (22 × 14 × 9 inches, give or take a few inches) with their name on it, a non-spillable water bottle with a straw that is labeled, an extra clean mask and a change of clothes in a labeled Ziploc bag according to the season. Please make sure all your child’s items are labeled. We ask that children come to class in closed toe-Velcro shoes. Extra clothes will be kept at school.

What is the sick policy?
Pease take the time to look at the Parent Handbook and sign the Illness Verification Form prior to the first day of school. Students need to be symptoms free for 48 hours without medication before returning to class. Day 1 begins after the last day they felt ill. If your child has seasonal allergies’, please bring in a Doctor’s note.

What is the drop off procedure?
Parents will not come into the classroom. Teachers will check your child in at the classroom door when you arrive and check your child out at the classroom door when you pick up. Please have an ID ready to show at Pick-Up for the first couple of weeks to help us get to know who is picking up what child. Anyone picking up your child must be on the Emergency Form and show an ID. We ask that you do not congregate in the hallways and use the appropriate doors to enter & exit. Reference map & Preschool Drop Off sheet.

Does my child have to be potty-trained?
We ask that your child is able to go in the bathroom on their own. The teachers will assist them outside the bathroom if they need help adjusting their clothes.

What are your cleaning procedures?
Teachers will be disinfecting high touch points throughout the day. Toys are sanitized each day and classrooms will be cleaned daily. Children will be given their own labeled pencil box that will contain their own supplies. Any shared supplies will be sanitized between use.

What will the hand washing procedure be?
Children will wash/sanitize their hands between each activity. We ask that you take your child to the bathroom/wash their hands before the start of class.
