The Channahon Park District Financial Assistance Program is made available through grants and donations to provide financial assistance to residents of the Channahon Park District in need in order for them to participate in Channahon Park District programs.

Refund Request Information

The Channahon Park District understands that schedules change and things come up that prevent participation in programs, reservations and memberships. We ask that you understand that in order to maintain the integrity of our programs that the following guidelines have been instituted.

    • Patrons requesting a refund are asked to complete a refund request form available online here, at Heritage Crossing Field House, and Arrowhead Community Center.
    • All refund, cancellations, changes are subject to approval. Filling out this form does not guarantee a refund, change, or cancelation.
    • All refunds are assessed a $5.00 processing fee. This fee is waived if you choose to have a credit put on your account or receive a Park district gift card.
    • Please allow upto 30 business days for your refund to be processed.
    • Please submit program refund requests 3 business days prior to the program/rental start date or listed registration deadline date.
    • Requests for refunds made after the deadline or after a class has started will be considered on an individual basis and are subject to approval. Refunds issued after program start dates will be prorated. Participants will be charged for classes that have taken place, attended or not, based on the DATE the refund request form was submitted.
    • No refunds will be granted after the third class meeting with the exception of a medical reason. Refunds for medical reasons must be requested within 10 business days following the completion of the program or activity and a doctor’s note will be required with the refund request.
    • Refunds will not be issued for the portion of the program fees paid for unrecoverable expenses incurred by the Park District such as contractual instructor fees, tickets, trips, t-shirts, books, and other expenses after the program registration/refund deadline.
    • Memberships are not refundable. A prorated refund may be assessed when medical circumstances are taken into consideration.
    • Tomahawk Aquatic Center season passes are non refundable and are non transferable.

  • Do not send originals of birth certificates or other additional forms requested for registration, please mail a copy.
  • All registrations are processed in random order, beginning the first day of walk-in registration.
  • The Channahon Park District is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or late mail.
  • If you wish to have a receipt mailed to you, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
