Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor Ticket Program

The Channahon Park District offers discounted tickets for the residents to Six Flags Great America at Arrowhead Community Center and Heritage Crossing Field House. Enjoy everything about Six Flags without paying the full ticket price. Tickets are good any day the park is open to the general public (not to private events) –throughout Fright Fest. Hurricane Harbor tickets can be purchased on site for $10.00 per person.

Floating Obstacle Course Nights - June 14 & July 26

“Floatie Night” is about to take on a whole new meaning. Come try your luck with a floating obstacle course, also known as a Wibit or Aquatrack. Climb, jump, and fall in, because it’s fun! This is a super fun summer event that you don’t want to miss! The concession stand will be open.

Fishing Derby - FREE! June 15

Ages 12 years & under
Join us in celebration of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources FREE fishing days! Bring your pole, bait and container to put your fish in. This is a great way to help youth develop a lifelong love of fishing. No pre-registration is required. Check-in will begin at 8:00 am, fishing will begin at 8:15 am. We will end fishing at 10:00 am and all fish must be checked in by 10:15, the awards will begin at 10:30 am. All participants will receive a ribbon and goodie bag. Top prizes will be awarded to the smallest fish, largest fish and most caught. This event is run on the honor system, the fish must be caught by the children, but assistance may be given for baiting and casting.

Touch-A-Truck - FREE! June 28

All ages welcome
This FREE family event showcases a variety of vehicles. Come check out an excavator, fire truck, school bus, moving truck and many many more! Everyone can experience these large machines from right behind the wheel. We have expanded our “quiet” hours this year with no horns or running engine from 9:30-10:30 am. Concessions will be available to purchase.

Flick & Float Featuring Moana! - June 28

Friday night, swimming at the pool, Floaties and a Flick! What could be better? We’ll be showing Moana on the big screen. Popcorn will be fresh and ready to snack on. All floaties are welcome, though any obstructing the lifeguards view may be removed from the pool. (swim muscles are never allowed for safety reasons)

At dusk bring your lawn chair and blanket and join us for a movie under the stars. What better way to enjoy a summer night than watching Ralph Breaks the Internet with your family and friends at Central Park. The movie will begin around 8:15 PM. The pool concession with be open through the movie.

Mom and Dad do you have a little runner in the family? If so, this is a fun way to get them started while getting the whole family involved! You’ll run through fun colors on the way to the finish line. Everyone will get a cool pair of sunglasses and the first 200 registered will get white t-shirt. The fun won’t stop at the finish line ether. Everyone is invited back to the Family Stage at the festival for Family Fun night! We’ll have glow sticks, a video game truck and more! You won’t want to miss this fun opportunity.

Better yet, if you take part in the Family Fun Color Run you will get a ticket for a free slice of pizza!
