Spring Clean at the I&M Canal

April 8-11

Before the trees and flowers bloom and the hikers and bikers hit the trail, we need your help to get it in shape for the season! Join in the fun as volunteer groups come together to clean up the beautiful canal! This is a great opportunity for scout groups, social organizations, families, friends, churches and other groups to give back to the community.

All groups will be assigned a section of the I&M Canal Trails and garbage bags and gloves will be provided. For more information please contact Daryl at 815-521-3103 or dcole@channahonpark.org. Event is planned in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources who own, manage and maintain the I&M Canal Trail.
