Water Park Private Rentals

Private Rentals are available June 1-August 31

5:15-7:15 PM and 7:30-9:30 PM
 
Your family, group, business, or organization can have exclusive use of the Tomahawk Aquatic Center for your private outing. Our aquatic center will provide the perfect setting for your special celebration. 
 
 
Fee:       $500 for up to 75 guests
              $6 for each additional guest
 
Resident Disc: $425 for up to 75 guests
                           $5 for each additional guest
 
Lifeguards are provided to enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies. Adult supervision is required for all aquatic center private rental guests.
 
A deposit of $200.00 is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance for the aquatic center rental is due on the day of the rental. 
 
One of our aquatics staff members will follow up with you to sign our rental contract.
 
All aquatic center rentals will be held as scheduled unless the weather becomes inclement. If it is necessary to close the facility, rentals will be rescheduled or refunded. 
 
The Concession stand can be opened for private rentals for an additional fee of $50.
 
All concession items will be sold at regular price if opened for a private rental.

Pavilion Reservations

Payment is required when the reservation is made.

Resident pavilion reservations begin Friday, March 1, 2024
Nonresident pavilion reservations begin Monday, March 18, 2024

Reservations can be made on-line, in person, or by phone. Applications will be processed in the order they are received. Only 1 pavilion may be reserved per family between March 1 and March 31. Payment is required when the reservation is made.

ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED AT THE PAVILIONS ONLY WITH A PERMIT.
Depending on the size of the group and activities planned, extra fees and liability insurance may be required.

INFLATABLES/BOUNCY HOUSES ARE NOT ALLOWED

Food Trucks will need to have prior approval and show documentation of insurance and both Will County and Village of Channahon operating permits, will require extra fees. For specific information on pavilion locations, permits and other amenities contact the Channahon Park District at 815-467-7275.

Cancellation policy:
To receive a refund (minus a $5 processing fee for check and credit card payments) cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to the event and a refund request form must be filled out.

Pavilions not adjacent to parking areas may not have vehicles driven to them for any purpose.  Your group should plan to carry in and out all food, supplies, etc.

Other guidelines to help us serve all park users fairly:

  1. Live or amplified music is not allowed
  2. Pets must be leashed at all times, and you are required to clean up after them.
  3. Glass containers, due to the possibility of breakage and subsequent injury, are not allowed.
  4. Please place all trash in appropriate receptacles at the conclusion of your day. Recycling containers for aluminum are provided for your convenience.
  5. We discourage the use of piñatas and water balloons, because of the difficult cleanup.

Both parks have ball fields, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, and additional picnic tables and grills.  These facilities are open to all park visitors and only the ball fields can be reserved.  For specific information, pavilion locations, permits and other amenities, contact the Channahon Park District at 815-467-7275.

Ball Field Reservations

Reservations for fields will begin February 1 with field availability beginning no sooner than Monday, April 08, 2024, weather permitting.

A deposit is required when the reservation is made.

To Qualify for Resident Rates 60% of players must reside withing the Channahon Park District.

Request for Athletic Field Use
Field use is not approved until written confirmation is returned to the group making the request. Groups should not finalize or circulate schedules until confirmation is received.

Payment  
A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Once your schedule has been approved, your organization will receive instructions on when the invoice is due.

Certificate of Insurance
A Certificate of Insurance naming the Channahon Park District as additional insured for liability insurance coverage in a minimum amount of $1,000,000 is required in our office two weeks before your first practice or game. Teams will not be allowed on the field if the park district does not have this on file from your organization.

Game scheduling
No same day reservations allowed. Added games to a schedule must be requested at least three (3) days in advance.

Game and practice cancellations
Please provide a minimum of a two (2) day notice if a game or practice has been cancelled or otherwise removed from the schedule. Any notice received less than 3 days in advance will still be subject to the full payment. Your group will be notified around 1pm the day of your game if your scheduled game cannot be set up due to poor field conditions.

Refunds
No refunds will be given. This includes rainouts; however, rainout games can be rescheduled. A two (2) day notice to the Park District must be given for any rescheduled games.

Fees
All non-profit and private organizations which reserve athletic fields at the Channahon Park District will be charged a rental fee. All fees are based on a per game or 2-hour practice. The following is the current fee structure:

The Channahon Park District has the perfect space available for your upcoming shower, party, reception or meeting. Fees include tables and chairs set up to your needs and a 100 cup coffee pot upon request. Hourly room rates are a minimum of two hours and include one additional hour for set-up at no charge. Each room has a capacity of 30 people depending on the type of room set-up used. Rooms are available 12 months a year. Arrowhead Community Center is a non-smoking facility and alcohol is not permitted. A facility request form must be completed no later than two weeks before the event in order for the reservation to be verified. Rental must be paid in full at time of booking. To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the event.
